European Aquatics Water Polo Referees and Delegates Education ClinicCompetition season 2024-2025Zagreb (CRO), 6th – 8th September 2024 This Education Clinic is particularly important in respect to the new structure of European Aquatics Water Polo and in respect of the new composition of EA TWPC, Delegates and Referees Commission (EA DRC) as well as for “Pool of WP Delegates registered candidates” from which Delegates will be selected to be on duty at games on the EA WP Calendar. At the same time, the Clinic will present the latest instructions and applications of the Water Polo Rules which need to be applied during the competition season 2024/2025. All representatives of the EA TWPC, EA DRC and EA WP Department strongly believe that it is essential to address these queries in a clear and precise way and share the conclusions to the Referees and Delegates which will officiate at the games on upcoming competition season. For this reason, European Aquatics Water Polo Technical Officials educational clinic 2024 for Delegates and Referees is organized to discuss and clarify all new situations and guarantee a start of the competition season with the most uniform application of the rules. All the Delegates (EA TWPC, EA DRC and Pool of WP Delegates registered candidates) as well as the Referees, at the EA Referees list 2024, are invited. The Clinic conclude with an online WP Rules test for all participants (in presence and online). The WP Rules test is prepared in collaboration with WWR and link to access the WP Rules test (with username and password) will be sent to all Referees at the EA Referees list 2024 and Delegates (EA TWPC, EA DRC and Pool of WP Delegates registered candidates) who will officiate in the competition season 2024/2025. Completed Registration process including payment of Registration fee, attendance at the Clinic (in presence or online) and successful passing of the WP Rules Test is an obligation for appointment to the games. The platform for the WP Rules test will be open for the period 8th – 15th September and each Referee/Delegate may repeat the test in case of failure. The Clinic is especially important with respect to the new World Aquatics Water Polo rules applied from 2023 and in anticipation to the start of the new season of European Club Competitions 2023-2024. National team competitions are already played under the new rules that led to several queries about their application in different situations.From the Technical Water Polo Committee (TWPC) we believe that it is essential to address these queries in a clear and precise way and share the conclusions to the group of referees and delegates.
